Overview
The "Member verification" feature protects a grup from bots na spam: a new member must pass a check (CAPTCHA) before they inap write in the grup. Until they pass, their rights are restricted. If they run out of time or exceed the error limit, the bot automatically removes them from the grup.
⚠️ The feature only works in supergroups. The bot must be an administrator wantaim the rights to restrict na remove members.
Feature status
- 🟢 On — verification is active.
- 🔴 Off — verification is inactive.
Toggle it wantaim the «🟢 Enable / 🔴 Disable» button.
Check types
Yu inap enable one or several types (at least one):
- Math (buttons) — solve a simple equation by tapping the answer.
- Press the correct button — pick the right option among the choices.
- Emoji CAPTCHA — pick the requested emoji.
The check type for each new member is chosen randomly from the enabled ones.
Time limit
How long a new member has to pass: 30 sec., 1 min., 2 min. or 5 min. (default — 1 minute). When the time runs out, the member is removed.
Error limit
How many mistakes are allowed before removal: 1, 2, 3 or 5 (default — 3).
Who to skip
Yu inap exclude certain categories from verification (olgeta enabled by default):
- Admins na the owner
- Bots
- Added by an admin
